The Key to Ending Binge Eating has Nothing to Do With Food

I’ve been where you are. Trying one more diet to lose the weight. Eating only certain foods at certain times. Feeling deprived all the time. Feeling exhausted, and ashamed that it’s not working again. Why can’t I just stop eating? I must not have any willpower. Why can’t I stick to anything? What is wrong with me?

But the truth is, it’s not about willpower, or sticking to it. It’s not about counting calories, or following another fad diet. You’ve got those down pat. In fact, I bet you’re a pro at dieting.

It’s not about the food. You’re not lacking willpower. You’re not broken. I promise.

What it is about, is about what you are really craving. And it may look like cookies but I promise you it’s not. In fact, it’s not even close. But this is how we’ve been taught. If you have a craving, fill it with food and more food.
